Extract and run it
Open a terminal in your Downloads folder. Two commands.
The binary is self-contained — no system libraries to install. Slint UI runs on Wayland and X11 out of the box.
On most distros you don’t need chmod +x — tar preserves the executable bit. If your shell complains, run chmod +x dreemdex-companion first.

Plug in your D10 (or just explore)
Companion finds the device the moment it shows up on the USB bus. You can also poke around the editor first — the device is optional for browsing.
That’s it. No setup wizard, no account creation. Companion talks to our server in the background to receive feature updates — nothing leaves your machine except telemetry on which screens you use.
