Extract and double-click the .exe
Right-click the .zip → Extract All. Open the folder, double-click Dreemdex Companion.exe.
The .zip contains the .exe and a short first-run README. Windows downloads sometimes mark .zips as “blocked” — right-click → Properties → tick “Unblock” if you see that.
A blue panel will appear. This is normal.
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" the first time you launch any app without a Microsoft signing certificate. We haven't bought one yet — they cost $300/year and we'd rather spend that money shipping features. Click "More info" first.
Click the highlighted More infolink in the lower-left of the dialog. You can’t click Run anywayuntil you do — that’s by design.

Now click Run anyway
Same dialog, expanded. The Run anyway button appears. Click it once and Windows remembers your choice forever — you won't see this dialog again.
Companion launches and is ready to use. Pop in your D10 whenever you’re ready — it’ll detect the device automatically.
